Amanda Fels

CPA

Amanda graduated from Southern Oregon University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration: Small Business Management and Certificates of Applied Finance & Economics and Accounting. Amanda is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in Washington and Oregon. She has over 20 years’ experience in tax and accounting.

Amanda enjoys helping individuals, small businesses and nonprofit organizations navigate their tax and accounting needs. As a past president of the Oregon Association of Independent Accountants, former Committee Chair for the Accounting Standards Committee for the National Society of Accountants and member of the Laws and Rules Committee for the Oregon Board of Accountancy, she is helping to shape the accounting profession at both the local and national level.

Amanda is a member of the Washington Society of Certified Public Accountants and the Oregon Association of Independent Accountants.

When not at the office, Amanda enjoys traveling and scuba diving with her family.

Terry O. Bakker

CPA, EA

Terry graduated from Portland State University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration: Accounting. She is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in Washington and Oregon, and has over 38 years of experience in tax and accounting.

Terry specializes in working with individuals and small businesses to growth and preserve their wealth through planning for life events and managing estate, tax and compliance work.

Terry is a former president for the Oregon Association of Independent Accountants, the current Treasurer of the organization, and a former Chair of their Education Committee. This work, along with educating other professionals on a national level for TaxSpeaker, has provided her with the opportunity to share her experience and knowledge with the accounting and tax community.

Terry is a member of the Washington Society of Certified Public Accountants, the Oregon Society of Certified Public Accountants, and the Oregon Association of Independent Accountants.

Terry has three grandchildren and a husband, Bubba, who take up most of her spare time, but still manages to get in the random round of golf or pickleball.

Meredith Ginter

Office Manager

Meredith Ginter has been with O’Leary Tax Service since 2017, and is our Office Manager.

She utilizes her BA in Communications and Marketing, having experience as an assistant director of marketing for a vacation resort company, as well as an account executive with an advertising agency. Meredith has previously held her real estate license in Hawaii and Washington.

Meredith excels at organization, making her the perfect fit for our bookkeeping and payroll clients!

When Meredith is not busy with fulfilling our client’s needs, she enjoys hiking with her dogs (and husband!) and volunteering for various organizations around Clark County.
